Step-by-Step Instructions for Artisan Pizza Dough
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, and yeast. Gradually pour in warm water, mixing until a shaggy dough forms, about 2–3 minutes.
  2. Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
  3. Place the kneaded dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 to 2 hours until doubled in size.
  4. Gently punch down the dough, divide into portions, and shape into round balls.
  5. Cover dough balls and let them rise again for about 30 minutes.
  6. Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C) and place a pizza stone inside to heat.
