Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and coat a 9×13-inch cake pan with non-stick spray.
  2. Prepare the Butter Pecan Cake Mix according to package instructions and pour it into the cake pan. Bake for about 30 minutes.
  3. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes. Poke holes all over the top of the warm cake with a fork.
  4. Pour the sweetened condensed milk over the warm cake, allowing it to soak in. Let it cool completely for about 30 minutes.
  5. Melt the unsalted butter in a saucepan, stir in brown sugar and heavy cream, and simmer for 3-5 minutes until thickened.
  6. Drizzle half the warm praline sauce over the cooled cake.
  7. Whip heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form. Spread it over the cake.
