Step-by-Step Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and coat a 9×13-inch cake pan with non-stick spray.
- Prepare the Butter Pecan Cake Mix according to package instructions and pour it into the cake pan. Bake for about 30 minutes.
- Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes. Poke holes all over the top of the warm cake with a fork.
- Pour the sweetened condensed milk over the warm cake, allowing it to soak in. Let it cool completely for about 30 minutes.
- Melt the unsalted butter in a saucepan, stir in brown sugar and heavy cream, and simmer for 3-5 minutes until thickened.
- Drizzle half the warm praline sauce over the cooled cake.
- Whip heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form. Spread it over the cake.
- Drizzle the remaining praline sauce over the whipped cream layer and sprinkle with toasted pecans.
- Chill the cake in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes
Allow the cake to cool sufficiently before poking holes to maximize absorption of sweetened condensed milk. For best results, use high-quality ingredients.
