Steps
- In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the sausage and cook until browned for about 5–7 minutes. Transfer to a plate, draining excess fat.
- In the same skillet, reduce the heat and add minced garlic. Sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in 1 cup of light cream, stirring to combine. Add 3 tablespoons of maple syrup, 1 teaspoon of thyme, and pepper. Let simmer gently for about 5 minutes.
- Remove the skillet from the heat and stir in ½ cup of Parmesan cheese until melted. Season with salt and pepper.
- In a separate pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add fresh ravioli and cook according to package instructions for 3–5 minutes.
- Add the drained ravioli into the skillet with the cream sauce. Toss gently to coat.
- Serve immediately, garnishing with additional Parmesan and fresh sage, if desired.
