  • 1 package Refrigerated Crescent Roll Dough Puff pastry can also be used for a crispier texture.
For the Filling
  • 2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese Opt for whole milk mozzarella or substitute with cheddar or provolone.
  • 24 slices Pepperoni Slices Turkey pepperoni or sliced deli ham can be used for a healthier alternative.
  • 1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning Optional; feel free to replace with your favorite herb blend.
  • 1/4 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese Optional and can be skipped.
For Dipping
  • 1 cup Marinara Sauce For dipping, optional for extra flavor.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the refrigerated crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 triangles.
  3. On the wide end of each dough triangle, place 3-4 pepperoni slices and a generous portion of shredded mozzarella cheese.
  4. Roll each triangle tightly towards the tip and tuck in the ends slightly.
  5. Place the rolled croissants on the baking sheet and sprinkle with Italian seasoning and grated Parmesan cheese.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and the cheese is gooey.
  7. Allow to cool for a couple of minutes, then serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
