Step-by-Step Instructions for Pierogi Pizza
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and prepare the pizza crust on a large baking sheet.
  2. In a large pot, boil the peeled and chopped potatoes in salted water for 10-12 minutes until fork-tender. Drain and evaporate excess moisture.
  3. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat, add onions, and sauté for 15 minutes until golden brown, reserving half for topping.
  4. Mash drained potatoes in a bowl, fold in 2½ cups sautéed onions, and mix in milk, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  5. Spread the creamy potato mixture on the prepared pizza crust, leaving a ½ inch border.
  6. Bake for 10 minutes until the crust is golden and crisp.
