Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Beat butter, powdered sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in salt, almond extract, vanilla extract, and cherry extract.
  2. Fold in chopped maraschino cherries and finely ground pecans.
  3. Gradually add all-purpose flour until dough holds together. Fold in mini chocolate chips.
  4. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for 30 to 60 minutes.
  5. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Roll the dough into balls and place on parchment-lined baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 15 to 17 minutes, until the bottoms are lightly golden. Roll in powdered sugar while warm.
  8. Let cool on a wire rack, and roll in powdered sugar again to enhance appearance.
