Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Lay out strips of bacon, bake until crispy, about 12-15 minutes. Cool and chop.
  2. If using raw chicken, season with salt and pepper, bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes. Shred cooked chicken and set aside.
  3. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté onion, celery, and carrots for 5-6 minutes. Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  4. Whisk together cream of chicken soup and whole milk in a separate bowl. Pour into sautéed vegetables and mix well. Add chicken stock, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, and cream cheese. Cook until melted.
  5. Stir in shredded chicken and chopped bacon. Simmer for 5-7 minutes, mixing occasionally.
  6. Add broken angel hair pasta and cook in the broth for 6-8 minutes until tender.
  7. Stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted. Adjust seasoning if necessary. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh herbs or additional cheese.
