Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice half a medium head of cabbage into long strips, resembling wide noodles.
  3. Spread the sliced cabbage onto a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with salt. Roast for 10-15 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  4. In a skillet over medium heat, cook chopped bacon for 2-3 minutes until crisp.
  5. Add finely chopped onion to the skillet, sauté for about 2-3 minutes. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  6. Lower the heat and pour in half a cup of heavy cream. Add Parmesan cheese and black pepper, stirring well. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Toss the roasted cabbage into the skillet, and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with extra Parmesan, cracked black pepper, and crispy bacon bits.
