  2. Combine Ingredients: In a medium bowl, combine the mashed cherries, old-fashioned oats, and plant-based milk. Add almond butter, ground flaxseed, maple syrup, optional lemon juice, and almond extract. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Soak Overnight: Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, ideally overnight, allowing the oats to absorb moisture.
