  • 1 cup Heavy Cream Can be substituted with half-and-half
  • ½ cup Parmesan Cheese Freshly grated

Equipment

  • Large skillet

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Slice the cabbage into thin strips, about ¼-inch thick, and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over low heat. Add 2 minced garlic cloves and sauté for about 2–3 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add the sliced cabbage to the skillet and cook for about 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage starts to wilt.
  4. Pour in 1 cup of heavy cream and stir continuously over low heat for about 4–5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Stir in ½ cup of freshly grated Parmesan cheese and a pinch of nutmeg for depth of flavor. Mix for 2–3 more minutes.
  6. Remove from heat, garnish with parsley, and serve hot.

Notes

Avoid garlic burn by cooking it over low heat; overcooking the sauce can lead to separation. For best results, use freshly grated cheese.
