Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Thaw frozen shrimp under cold running water for 10 minutes, pat dry and set aside.
  2. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat, whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant, stirring continuously.
  4. Pour in heavy cream, lemon juice, and Italian seasoning, stir, and simmer for 2 minutes.
  5. Add shrimp and cook for 5 minutes until they turn pink and opaque, stirring occasionally.
  6. Stir in spinach and basil, cook for 2 minutes until wilted.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste, serve immediately and optionally garnish.
