  • 2 tbsp Fresh Parsley Chopped, for garnish.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Season the chicken with salt, black pepper, and Cajun seasoning. Layer in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté chopped onion for 3-4 minutes, until translucent. Add minced garlic and sauté for another minute.
  3. Pour the sautéed onion and garlic over the chicken. Sprinkle in smoked paprika and dried oregano, then add chicken broth. Stir gently to combine.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours until chicken is tender.
  5. Shred the chicken in the slow cooker using two forks. Stir in heavy cream and heat for 15-20 minutes.
  6. Serve over rice or pasta and garnish with fresh parsley.
