  • 1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard Yellow mustard can substitute if needed
  • 1 clove Garlic Finely minced; shallots can provide a milder flavor
  • 1 tablespoon Honey Consider maple syrup as another option
  • 3 tablespoons Extra-Virgin Olive Oil Other oils can be used but olive oil is preferred
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh Ground Pepper Adjust according to taste
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Chives Chopped; can use dried herbs if fresh aren’t available
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Basil Chopped; can substitute with dried herbs

  1. Prepare 8 wooden skewers by positioning them vertically on a clean surface or platter. Rinse and dry all the fresh produce to maintain color and taste.
  2. Begin threading the antipasto ingredients onto each skewer in an alternating pattern. Ensure the skewers are visually appealing and sturdy.
  3. In a small jar, combine Dijon mustard, minced garlic, honey, and salt. Add olive oil, pepper, and chopped herbs. Shake vigorously until mixed.
