Step-by-Step Instructions for Chicken Zucchini Bake
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the cubed chicken and cook for about 5–7 minutes until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced zucchinis and diced bell peppers. Add garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, basil, salt, black pepper, and the remaining olive oil. Toss until evenly coated.
- Spread half of the vegetable mixture at the bottom of a greased baking dish.
- Layer the browned chicken over the vegetables. Pour marinara sauce over the chicken, spreading evenly.
- Add the remaining vegetable mixture on top of the chicken and sauce.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese evenly over the top.
