  • 12 large Marshmallows
For the Chocolate Coating
  • 2 cups White Chocolate Can substitute with other white coating chocolates.
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable Shortening
For Finishing Touches
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar For dusting.
  • 1 each Black Edible Marker For drawing faces.
  • 1 cup Candy Eyes For decoration.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare your workspace by clearing your countertop and gathering all ingredients.
  2. Melt the chocolate and shortening in a microwave-safe bowl, microwaving in 30-second intervals until smooth.
  3. Dip the bottom of one marshmallow in the melted chocolate, stack two more on top using the chocolate as glue, and let set.
  4. Once stable, dip the entire marshmallow structure in melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off, then add candy eyes.
  5. Dust with powdered sugar and use the black marker to add faces, let harden for 30 minutes.
  6. Serve the marshmallows immediately or store in an airtight container.
