- Prepare your workspace by clearing your countertop and gathering all ingredients.
- Melt the chocolate and shortening in a microwave-safe bowl, microwaving in 30-second intervals until smooth.
- Dip the bottom of one marshmallow in the melted chocolate, stack two more on top using the chocolate as glue, and let set.
- Once stable, dip the entire marshmallow structure in melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off, then add candy eyes.
