Ingredients
  

Fruits
  • 2 cups apples Honeycrisp or Gala, chopped
  • 2 cups pears ripe, chopped
  • 1 cup red grapes seedless, halved
  • 1 cup green grapes seedless, halved
  • 1 cup pomegranate arils or dried cranberries
Crunch
  • 1/2 cup pecans or walnuts, chopped
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds optional
Dressing
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup for vegan
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice or lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon or nutmeg as substitute

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Wash all fresh produce thoroughly. Core the apples and pears, then chop them into bite-sized pieces. Halve the red and green grapes and remove seeds if necessary.
  2. Place all the prepared fruit into a large mixing bowl.
Dressing
  1. In a small bowl, combine honey (or maple syrup) with fresh lemon juice, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Whisk until smooth.
Assembling the Salad
  1. Drizzle dressing over the fruit and gently toss using a spatula.
  2. Sprinkle in chopped pecans and pumpkin seeds.
Chilling
  1. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
