Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Clean button mushrooms, remove stems, and set caps on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for about 2 minutes.
- Add chopped fresh herbs to the skillet and cook for another minute.
- Mix sautéed garlic and herbs with cream cheese, Parmesan, and breadcrumbs in a bowl until smooth.
- Fill each mushroom cap with the creamy mixture.
- Bake stuffed mushrooms for 18–20 minutes until golden brown.
- Sprinkle with shredded cheese or red pepper flakes in the last 5 minutes of baking.
- Let the mushrooms cool for a few minutes before serving.
