- Add the nut butter and mashed banana or applesauce to the dry mixture. Mix thoroughly until a cohesive dough forms.
- Check the mixture's consistency; add water or plant milk if too dry, or sprinkle in more oats or flax meal if too sticky.
- With clean hands, scoop out small portions and roll them into bite-sized balls, about one inch in diameter.
- Place rolled bites onto a parchment-lined tray and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Transfer chilled bites to an airtight container for storage. They'll stay fresh in the fridge for up to 7 days.
