Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Start by placing the Oreo cookies in a food processor and pulse until they are fine crumbs.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine these cookie crumbs with softened cream cheese and mix until well-blended and smooth.
  3. Scoop out portions of the mixture and roll them into balls, shaping them into ghost-like figures.
  4. Place the shaped truffles onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and chill for about 15 minutes.
  5. Melt the white chocolate in short bursts of 20-30 seconds, stirring in between, until smooth.
  6. Dip each ghost truffle into the melted white chocolate, ensuring it’s fully coated and allow excess to drip off.
  7. Before the coating sets, add sprinkles or edible eyes for decoration.
  8. Let the truffles sit at room temperature until the chocolate hardens completely, about 30 minutes.

These truffles can stay out for a couple of hours during parties, but it's best to keep them cool for optimal texture. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week or freeze for longer storage.
