- Preheat your oven to 392°F (200ºC).
- Make a shallow cut along the length of each banana without cutting all the way through.
- Spoon the hazelnut cream into the carved trench of each banana.
- Cut the puff pastry into strips and wrap each banana snugly.
- Place wrapped bananas on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- Whisk an egg and brush the mixture over each pastry-wrapped banana.
- Lightly sprinkle sugar on top of each wrapped roll.
- Bake for 25 minutes until the pastry is golden brown.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
