For the Coating
  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips Use dairy-free chocolate chips to maintain dairy-free status.
  • 2 tablespoons Coconut Oil Can substitute with vegetable oil if desired.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Crush the corn flakes in a zip-top bag until small pieces remain.
  2. Combine peanut butter and maple syrup or honey in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Gently fold crushed corn flakes into the peanut butter mixture.
  4. Line a loaf pan with parchment paper, pour in the mixture, and freeze for at least 1 hour to set.
  5. Once firm, lift the mixture out and cut it into 12 equal bars.
  6. Melt chocolate chips and coconut oil together in a microwave-safe bowl.
  7. Dip each bar in the melted chocolate, letting excess drip off before placing on a plate.
  8. Freeze coated bars for 10 minutes until chocolate is set, then store in an airtight container.
