  2. Cook the pasta according to package instructions for al dente, reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain it well.
  3. In a large pan, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté for 5-6 minutes until translucent.
  4. Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional 2 minutes until fragrant.
