- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure a well-cooked finish.
- Blend the ricotta cheese, grated Parmesan, chopped parsley, fresh basil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning in a mixing bowl.
- Flatten each chicken breast between plastic wrap using a meat mallet to an even thickness of about ½ inch.
- Spread the herbed ricotta mixture over each flattened chicken breast, roll tightly and secure with toothpicks.
- Sear each side of the stuffed chicken rolls in olive oil for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
- Transfer the chicken rolls to a baking dish and pour marinara sauce over them.
- Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes until cooked through, reaching an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Let the rolls rest for a few minutes before serving, and remove toothpicks.
