Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Wash and hulking 1 cup of fresh strawberries, slice them and toss with 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar. Let sit for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Whip 1 cup of heavy cream in a mixing bowl until soft peaks form, about 3-5 minutes. Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
  3. In a tall glass, fill halfway with the macerated strawberry mixture, add ice, and pour club soda or sparkling water to the rim.
  4. Dollop whisked cream over the drink, creating a beautiful layer above the fizzy mixture.
