Preparation Steps
- Thaw the puff pastry in the refrigerator overnight or at room temperature for 30 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to fit your brie cheese, aiming for a 12-inch diameter.
- Place the brie cheese in the center of the pastry and layer with cranberry sauce, then fold the pastry edges over the cheese.
- Score a few diagonal slits on top of the wrapped brie to allow steam to escape.
- Beat an egg with water or milk to create an egg wash and brush it over the pastry.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes until the pastry is puffed and golden brown.
- Cool for about 10 minutes on a wire rack before serving.
