  • 1 round Brie Cheese Slightly firm, rind on
  • 1 cup Cranberry Sauce Whole-berry sauce preferred
For the Egg Wash
  • 1 large Egg Beaten with water or milk

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Thaw the puff pastry in the refrigerator overnight or at room temperature for 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to fit your brie cheese, aiming for a 12-inch diameter.
  4. Place the brie cheese in the center of the pastry and layer with cranberry sauce, then fold the pastry edges over the cheese.
  5. Score a few diagonal slits on top of the wrapped brie to allow steam to escape.
  6. Beat an egg with water or milk to create an egg wash and brush it over the pastry.
  7. Bake for 25–30 minutes until the pastry is puffed and golden brown.
  8. Cool for about 10 minutes on a wire rack before serving.
