Step-by-Step Instructions for Banana Tiramisu
  1. In a large mixing bowl, pour 2 cups of heavy whipping cream. Beat on medium-high speed until soft peaks form, about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Gently fold in 8 oz of mascarpone cheese, ¼ cup of powdered sugar, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until just combined.
  3. Line a 9x13 baking dish with ladyfingers, arranging 24-30 pieces in a single layer.
  4. Brush half of the ½ cup of orange juice evenly over the ladyfingers.
  5. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the soaked ladyfingers.
  6. Layer 2 medium sliced bananas over the mascarpone mixture.
  7. Add another layer of ladyfingers, brush with the remaining orange juice, and spread the rest of the mascarpone mixture on top.
  8. Finish with a layer of banana slices and top with an 8 oz container of Cool Whip.
  9. Cover with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or overnight.
