Method
 

Preparation Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 12-cup muffin tin.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix together the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon for the coating.
  6. Roll pieces of muffin batter into 1-inch balls and roll in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  7. Place 3 to 4 coated dough balls in each muffin cup, filling about ¾ full.
  8. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let the muffins cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
