- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 12-cup muffin tin.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix together the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
- In a small bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon for the coating.
- Roll pieces of muffin batter into 1-inch balls and roll in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Place 3 to 4 coated dough balls in each muffin cup, filling about ¾ full.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the muffins cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
