Baking Process
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line your donut pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine unsweetened plant-based milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring lightly until just combined.
  5. Stir in the apple cider vinegar to the batter and give it one final gentle stir.
  6. Fill the donut pan cavities about two-thirds full with batter.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until springy to the touch and a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool the donuts in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  9. Let the donuts cool completely before decorating with frosting, sprinkles, or glazes.
