Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, minced garlic, onion, Dijon mustard, maple syrup, olive oil, thyme, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently.
  3. Shape the mixture into meatballs about 1 ½ inches in diameter, yielding approximately 20 to 24 meatballs. Place on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake the meatballs in the oven for 18 to 22 minutes until golden brown.
  5. While they bake, whisk together the sauce ingredients in a small saucepan and simmer over medium heat for about 3 to 4 minutes.
  6. Remove the meatballs from the oven, place them in a bowl, and pour the warm sauce over them. Toss gently to coat.
  7. Serve garnished with fresh parsley or thyme and enjoy!
