Method
 

Biscuit Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cut in the cold unsalted butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Gently fold in fresh blueberries, dusted lightly with flour.
  5. Create a well in the mixture and pour in buttermilk; stir gently until just combined.
  6. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and pat it into a rectangle about 1 inch thick.
  7. Using a biscuit cutter, cut out rounds and place them on the baking sheet.
  8. Brush melted butter over the tops of the biscuits.
