  • 1 bunch Gai Lan (Chinese Broccoli) Can be substituted with broccolini or bok choy.
For the Cooking
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil Sesame oil can also be used.

For the Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Oyster Sauce For vegan option, use plant-based oyster sauce.
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger Minced.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Fill a medium pot with water, add salt and olive oil, and bring to boil. Add Gai Lan and blanch for 1-2 minutes. Drain and place on a serving plate.
  2. In a small skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and ginger, sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Reduce heat, pour in oyster sauce, and stir to combine with garlic and ginger. Simmer for 30 seconds.
  4. Drizzle sauce over the Gai Lan and serve immediately.
