Step-by-Step Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together ¼ cup balsamic vinegar, 2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce, 2 tablespoons olive oil, 3 minced garlic cloves, 1 tablespoon honey, 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix until well emulsified.
- Cut 1 pound of sirloin steak into bite-sized cubes and add them to the marinade, tossing to ensure they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
- Preheat a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat for about 3 minutes until shimmering hot.
- Carefully place the marinated steak cubes into the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes without moving, then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Pour any remaining marinade into the skillet. Stir continuously and cook for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Remove the pan from heat and let the steak bites rest for 2 minutes in the skillet.
