Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the beef by ensuring your beef strips are fully thawed if frozen. Pat them dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of oil over medium-high heat. Add thinly sliced onions and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until soft and translucent.
  3. Add the beef strips to the skillet with the onions and cook for about 3-5 minutes, stirring often until the beef is browned on all sides.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and a dash of sesame oil. Pour this sauce over the beef and onions in the skillet.
  5. Continue to cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently to heat through and allow the sauce to thicken slightly.
  6. Remove the pan from heat and garnish your dish with freshly chopped green onions. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
