  • 2 packs Fresh Ramen Noodles Udon or egg noodles work as substitutes.
  • 1 cup Baby Spinach Kale or bok choy are suitable substitutes.
  • Green Onions For garnish; chives or cilantro can work as alternatives.
Optional Toppings
  • Soft-boiled Eggs For added richness.
  • Sriracha or Chili Oil Adjust amount according to taste.

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Start by seasoning the beef chuck roast generously with salt and pepper, giving it a good rub. Set aside.
  2. In your slow cooker, layer the seasoned beef at the bottom followed by the sliced onion, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
  3. Pour in the beef broth and water, then add the soy sauce, sesame oil, and brown sugar. Stir gently to combine.
  4. Cover the slow cooker and set to low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
  5. Check the beef for tenderness; it should be easily shredded with two forks.
  6. About 10 minutes before serving, cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions until al dente.
  7. Just before serving, stir in the baby spinach in the slow cooker until wilted.
  8. Ladle the beef and broth over the noodles in deep bowls.
  9. Garnish with chopped green onions, soft-boiled eggs, and optional Sriracha or chili oil.
