  • 2 slices Crusty Bread choose sourdough or Italian
  • 1/4 cup Sun-Dried Tomato Pesto rich and tangy flavor
  • 2 slices Mozzarella Cheese or provolone, cheddar, gouda
  • 1 tablespoon Butter for crispy crust
Optional Add-Ins
  • 4 leaves Fresh Basil Leaves for aroma
  • 1 slice Tomato for juiciness

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Spread a generous layer of sun-dried tomato pesto on one side of each slice of bread.
  2. Place a slice of mozzarella cheese on top of the pesto on one slice of bread, then top with the second slice of bread, pesto side down.
  3. Preheat a skillet over medium heat and melt 1 tablespoon of butter.
  4. Place the sandwich in the skillet and cook for 3 to 4 minutes until the bottom is golden brown.
  5. Flip the sandwich and cook for another 3 to 4 minutes until both sides are golden and the cheese is melted.
  6. Remove from skillet, let cool for a minute, then slice and serve.
