Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9x13 baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt butter in a medium mixing bowl and mix it with crushed graham crackers or saltines until combined. Press this mixture into the baking pan to form the crust.
  3. In a saucepan, cook caramel sauce over medium heat until it thickens to a golden hue, about 5-7 minutes. Pour over the crust.
  4. Melt chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Pour over the caramel layer and spread evenly.
  5. Sprinkle crunchy toppings over the chocolate layer and gently press them in.
  6. Bake the crust for about 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Allow the pan to cool slightly, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.
