Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Lay the saltine crackers in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the unsalted butter and brown sugar. Stir continuously until it melts and comes to a gentle boil, about 3-5 minutes.
  4. Once boiling, remove from heat and carefully pour the toffee mixture over the arranged saltine crackers. Bake for 5-7 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  5. Remove from the oven and sprinkle semi-sweet chocolate chips generously over the hot toffee to melt.
  6. Mix granulated sugar and cinnamon together, then sprinkle over the melted chocolate layer.
  7. Sprinkle a light dusting of sea salt over the top.
  8. Allow to cool completely at room temperature, then break into pieces.
