Ingredients
  

For the Salmon
  • 4 fillets Thick, skinless, boneless salmon yields the most moisture and richness
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil for seasoning

  • 1 whole Lemon for acidity and zest
For the Stuffing
  • 8 ounces Lump crabmeat fresh or well-drained canned
  • 8 ounces Cooked shrimp chopped into small pieces
  • 4 ounces Cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup Fresh breadcrumbs store-bought or homemade
  • 2 tablespoons Green onions sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh dill can be substituted
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning or Cajun seasoning
For Baking and Garnishing
  • 2 tablespoons Butter to brush on top
  • 1/2 cup White wine or broth as substitute
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon zest for finishing touch
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley for garnish

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Carefully cut pockets into each salmon fillet, season with sea salt, black pepper, and fresh lemon juice.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine lump crabmeat, chopped shrimp, softened cream cheese, breadcrumbs, green onions, dill, garlic powder, and Old Bay seasoning. Stir until blended.
  4. Stuff the seafood mixture into each salmon pocket and secure with toothpicks.
  5. Melt butter and brush it on top of the stuffed salmon, place in a baking dish and bake for 18-22 minutes until internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  6. Let the salmon rest for 5 minutes, garnish with parsley and lemon zest, then serve.
