Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Carefully cut pockets into each salmon fillet, season with sea salt, black pepper, and fresh lemon juice.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine lump crabmeat, chopped shrimp, softened cream cheese, breadcrumbs, green onions, dill, garlic powder, and Old Bay seasoning. Stir until blended.
- Stuff the seafood mixture into each salmon pocket and secure with toothpicks.
- Melt butter and brush it on top of the stuffed salmon, place in a baking dish and bake for 18-22 minutes until internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
- Let the salmon rest for 5 minutes, garnish with parsley and lemon zest, then serve.
