Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Evenly spread the sweetened shredded coconut and chopped toasted pecans at the bottom of the baking dish.
  3. Sprinkle the Devil's Food cake mix evenly over the coconut and pecans without stirring.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine softened cream cheese, melted butter, and vanilla extract and beat until smooth.
  5. Gradually mix in the confectioners' sugar until fully combined.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the top of the cake mix without fully combining.
  7. Sprinkle semisweet chocolate chips and remaining pecans on top of the cream cheese mixture.
  8. Bake for 35-40 minutes until the edges are set and center jiggles slightly.
  9. Let it cool for about 10 minutes before serving warm with vanilla ice cream.
