  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil for searing
For the Glaze
  • 1/2 cup Fresh Orange Juice
  • 2 tablespoons Honey or maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Ginger (grated)
To Thicken the Glaze
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch mixed with water
For Garnishing
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley (chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon Orange Zest

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Season the salmon fillets with salt and black pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Place the seasoned salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet and cook for about 4 minutes.
  4. Flip the fillets and cook for another 4 minutes until opaque.
  5. In the same skillet, combine fresh orange juice, honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
  6. Simmer the sauce over medium heat for about 2 minutes.
  7. Add the cornstarch slurry to the sauce and stir until it thickens.
  8. Drizzle the glaze over salmon and cook together for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  9. Plate the salmon and pour any remaining glaze over it.
  10. Garnish with chopped parsley and orange zest before serving.
